She graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2008. She completed clinical rotations in both a primary eye care setting and a retina specialty clinic as part of her training. In 2012, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree. She is also an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Therapeutic Optometrist Optometric Glaucoma Specialist Dr. Shosa (drshosa@baxtereye.com) is a native ("born and raised") to The Woodlands, TX. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY in 2000 where she played Division I water polo. She studied Public Health at The University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, Houston. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in May of 2013.
